Biography 2024
Louis Sheridan, American Country Music Singer/Songwriter-Multi-Award Winner of the Country Music Artist, Song of the Year from the NM Music Awards for the songs, Things Mamma Used to Say and most recently 2024 Country Song of The Year, Cowboys Need Lovin Too. He has also received nominations for songs Midnight Rain, Strike A Pose and That's How It's Gonna Be in 2023. The song, Tell Her She's Pretty was inspired by a young man who asked what he should say to his girl on their first date. Midnight Rain was inspired by a women who lost her young son. That's How It's Gonna Be, one of my favorites is everybody's dream.
Most recently Louis Sheridan has been writing and recording Spanish love songs. He completed and released Un Hombre in May 2023 and El Ultimo Beso in March 2024.
Louis was recently recognized as a Top 10 Country Music Artist by the European EMCA music charts.
Louis was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Married with three grown children, he counts among his strongest influences George Jones, Merle Haggard, George Strait and Waylon Jennings.
He began in a band singing cover songs from some of his favorites. He attended college in the early nineties, receiving a Masters Degree in Business.
Louis Sheridan songs range from funny classic to modern pop country. Louis has performed in Nashville, Napa, Georgia, Northern California, Las Vegas Nevada, New Mexico and most recently in Positano, Italy with his good friend Giuseppe. Louis is scheduled to tour in 2025 in Tokyo and Tsuyama Japan.
